I can't remember one game this year where I felt the team played even 90% for the full game. I think it was great our team tied the game. At least it wasn't a cake walk for Lincoln. The winning shot was pretty darn good. That guy is good . We must be watching different play offs because while they are playing hard some are barely getting on the board. Actually, we have players still in high school......hard to fairly compare. What about #23 he has played play off hockey all season! Actually, for the year these guys have gone through I think they played with heart. Go Stampede. Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who HUSTLE.

Also, love your gay comments; feeling a bit defensive? Lastly, where did I defend Eric's behavior in my post? Way to jump to the assumption there. Maybe if you could stop focussing on only one thing I said and read everything you might have understood my point. Don't like what I said - move on.

He is constantly putting on the big checks and I love watching him play because he does play that hard. Unfortunately, there are plenty of times where he seems to be the only one. Play-off hockey is about having those guys step up their game that you don't expect to be on the score sheet. This team has the potential to be very lethal if they would just play a full 60 mins at 100%. One last thing, why is it a bad thing if our back-up goalie is chirping at the other team from the bench? He's not the first goalie to do it from the bench. Unfortunately, he seems to be the only person trying to get under Lincoln's "skin". I would love to have a Joe Jensen type player here, but then again, that might look bad to all the "families" out there and come across as "bad sportmanship". "I'm listening to the F@!king SONG!!!"

He is getting pounded all the time and never gives up. I'm not quite sure why he hasn't been signed by a college yet. If the Herd had just half the team doing the same thing - the outcome of the games would be different. Secondly, about a back-up goalie chirping at the opposing team. In most cases, that might be ok. In our case however, everyone, including the Lincoln team already know that they got under Eric's skin the first game. I think it would've been in his best interest to keep his mouth shut, especially after the scene/temper tantrum he put on at the first game. Lincoln will only put alittle more pressure on him and he'll be done. Eric has already in the past shown enough how unsportmanlike he can be.

You must not have read the Argus this morning, Eric said, "Part of my job is to lead by example." Coach said,"If there's one thing I feel good about it's that we brought Clay along the right way. We kept the pressure off him & he just kept getting better." I suppose always playing him against Indiana rather than Chicago, sending him in when we are already behind a bunch of goals, or not playing him kept the pressure off. I did'nt realize that. Might have been better on their part NOT to be interviewed like that right before the game tonight. Only puts more pressure on Eric and maybe alittle controversy. I commented on the article in the "argus article" topic
