GEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I wonder how downtown will pick this person out? Any bets on it being a corporate sponsor...... I would be quite sure its NOT gonna be one of
us run of the mill, hard cheering, chanting hockey fans!

Because you chant and cheer is the whole reason it won't be any of us. Now be like every other good fan and sit on your hands and stare at anyone else who gets the idea that they are they to make noise. |

It may or may not be a corpie, but I'm willing to bet they've already decided who it will be. I could rant more on this, but it's hard to type
with my nose ...

It will be interesting to see where the fan comes in to the Arena. I think there are 4 entrances that have ticket scanners? Are they going to just guess who it
is, or actually get the 1,000,000th fan by checking the computer the ticket scanners run on and then announce the seat location during an intermission? I think
I am giving them too much credit?!?!
I was thinking that instead of a corpie getting it, it will be someone that comes to 2-3 games a year. They will win season tickets for life and never show up. What if a fan from the opposing team wins it, because it will more than likely be the 22nd when we face Lincoln. ![]()

They're definitely covering their a$$es with that one. Yeah, I saw that. I just subconciously left it off because I doubt anything will ever get built. I read it more as not to bind tickets for life to a new owner should the team be sold and moved, in which case travel would make it difficult but not if the tickets were "sold" to someone in a new city. You are probably right, wait for Mrs Daniels to get free tickets..... LOL ![]()

Two (2) Round-Trip Airline Tickets anywhere in the Continental USA! The last is an interesting prize, especially if what I overheard a few people discussing at intermissions of the last two home games is not a rumor but actual thing to come. If they don't use the cerificate this season they can always use it to buy Stampede gear next season ------ at SCHEEL'S! The above when combined with Lifetime Pair of Stampede Season Tickets for all remaining years played at the Sioux Falls Arena is an indication there is somethiing on the horizon being kept very quiet for the present time. Look for an announcement about the time the 2009 All Star game is played in the arena. |
