Coach said Witt, Perrier and Ruhwedel should be coming back plus a few more. I am sure Escobedo will too

This is who I have that is eligible to return for next season:
(Divjak, Rohrkemper, Holmstrom, Kesti, Walters are 89's, so at least one would not be eligible to return) 4 Blake Thompson 6 Sean Escobedo 7 Daniel Furlong 8 Chris Rumble 9 Patrick Divjak 10 Jeff Rohrkemper 12 Josh Holmstrom 18 Matt Farris 20 George Michalke 21 Ryan Kesti 23 Dane Walters 27 Chad Ruhwedel 29 Marcus Perrier 31 Clay Witt |

The quote Dane had in today's Argus makes it sound like he won't be back but I'm not aware of any college committment he's made.
As much as I'd like to see Kesti back I just don't believe that's going to happen. The coach pretty much sh** all over his Rice Krispies in the last couple months & even if the coach wants him back I don't know that Ryan would want to come back. As far as the rest of the list, who's to say half of them want to be back? If Perrier wants to play college hockey then I can see him coming back, if that route doesn't matter, I would expect him to be playing up north in the OHL. Having most back would be great but there are a few on that list that should be passed on. Something that was touched on in another thread is that it's probably not coincidental that there was a noticeable difference in talent once Sarner moved on. What does that mean for the upcoming tryouts? Only time will tell but I'm sure most will look like superstars in June. |

He'll be gone next like the last guy if he doesn't produce. He's young and has less experience than obviously Sarner. Hope for the best - seems like a decent guy. This is who I have that is eligible to return for next season:I highly doubt that Kesti, Thompson and Rumble will be back. Witt is another one I'm guessing is up in the air - after how he was treated this season. Too bad he dropped off the NHL watch list. Hard to watch him when he never got to play. The list is a little daunting without those 5 guys - not that there isn't talent with the rest of them, just less vets (numbers). It would feel like we were starting all over again like last season. |
