Lets hope they come out and play like they can.
Yes it would be cool to see a goalie fight. I have never seen one in person. Is it just me or does they team seem to play better with Witt in goal. It just seem they have more confidence. |

Well I have seen a goalie fight. It was when the Muskies played the Stars actually. Look at my picture.
I would like to see Hartzell go at it. You'd think he'd be pretty good with all that anger. lol |

Looked like they were rocking the shorthanded goals. Maybe they did learn something this season as they sat at the red line & watched all the shorthanded
goals scored against them.
From what I heard Witt is playing great, but what are the chances he's in for another 8 wins? There's no way tonights backup stays on the bench for any meaningful stretch of games. |

Lets just hope that COACH stays a COACH and not a DAD and leaves CLAY in goal. WE do not need the "vacum" in goal for us anymore.

Tonight we witnessed a "Number One Goalie" in action.
NO childish tantrums. NO blaming everyone else but himself. NO pouting. Just solid performance. Character, self dicipline, and maturity are the makings of a numer one goalie. NOT having the same DNA as the coaching staff. Clay Witt has earned a starting position for the next game, perhaps for the remainder of the playoffs. If the coaching staff wants to preseve any credibility, they will make it so. And yes, it is apparant the team supports Witt, it is obvious to even the most casual observer, just who they have confidence in, between the pipes. Go Stampede. |

Props to the whole team for stepping up. Walters is having a hell of a playoff run so far. 5 pts in 2 games. Props to the PK as well. We are a +2 shorthanded.
On another note. If Kesti did not play tonight then I think something must really be going on with him behind the scenes. A injury they have not told us about or maybe some sort of punishment for a team ules violation or something? |
