What happened to him this past weekend? Did he break his wrist and hurt his knee?

Heard on the coaches show that he'd been playing with a broken wrist and since he was out with the knee injury, they will cast the wrist as well. Good luck
on a speedy recovery.

I sure hope he ends up getting into a school he likes. I'm guessing he has offers on the table but is waiting for his "dream school".
Hope he can get healthy and be back for the playoffs. |

If I remember correctly that dream school would be Wisconsin.....?

Being the arrogant fan of Minnesota I am, I would say he has to strive for a gophers jersey God I can only hope it is not a Sioux jersey.
But he does probably want to follow in his brothers footsteps and be a badger, and I am sure playing for his home state means something too. Either way, I just hope he gets/takes a scholarship soon. He certanly deserves one. ![]()

I couldn't agree more about being deserving of a scholarship. Only reason I am guessing Wisconsin was due to rumors prior to the season when he initially
wasn't on the tryout roster, I had heard rumors regarding him entering the NAHL for more prolific scoring chances in hopes of generating interest from
bigger schools and Wisconsin/brother ties were mentioned. Being a die hard gopher fan myself, I don't endorse anyone (accept maybe Conboy from Omaha, seems
fitting) attending Thug U at the Sioux.

Conboy needs to go to UFN with Kolar

I'm not sure why a defensive minded school like Wisco would not have already made an offer. He has to be one of the best defensive forwards in the USHL and
is for sure one of the best PK guys.

I have always wondered if there wasnt an attitude problem or grades, that has prevented him from already getting a scholarship to somewhere. He certainly has
shown that he can play the same or better than a few other players that were offered scholarships last year.
Wheres that pubic (;P) lockerroom talk that we crave. ![]()

Since this is his last hurrah in junior hockey they better have an open spot now or pass. I would hope that if he's not in their plans they tell him &
not string him along until he has no other options (other than DIII)...although that wouldn't be the first time a WCHA team did that.
Somewhere out east might be a good fit, it's just tough sometimes to see a guy end up with an inferior team out there. Once you get past BC or BU there's not much left to compete against CCHA or WCHA. |

Wisconsin has a ton of forwards already recruited and I think just a handful of seniors.
Just checked their roster and 4 seniors, 3 D and 1 F. They have 4 forward recruits coming in, and 2 or 3 D depending on whether Wiercioch enrolls in 08 or 09. And from the sounds of it, they are struggling for scholarship money. |
