I remember going to the games in the old Audi in Sioux City and you could bring in the old air horns.Honestly, I don't miss the old hand held air horns. Too many idiots that didn't think it was a big deal to just sit the thing on the floor and then reach down to blow the horn instead of picking it up and pointing it into the air before blowing it. As anyone who has been in the old Audi knows a horn blown on the floor just went directly into the ears of the person sitting in front of them. A few times that someone in front of the horn was me and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to just grab the damn thing and throw it as far as I could!!
Well i hate to dissapoint you muskie, but all of us horn blowers were not idiots.Maybe some of the idiots in front of the air horn blowers should have chucked it. It does beat the silence we have now at the Tyson. It's just too bad the crowd does not get into the game as they once did. Maybe it's the old farts and the family atmosphere they want. Oh well I will continue to go,even though I can't blow my horn.
