Yup - - read that article this morning. Might have been better on their part NOT to be interviewed like that right before the game tonight. Only puts more pressure on Eric and maybe alittle controversy. I commented on the article in the "argus article" topic

First of all, I think Dane Walters has been the only player giving 110% all year. He is getting pounded all the time and never gives up. I'm not quite sure why he hasn't been signed by a college yet. I'm not defending Eric one bit, I'm simply saying maybe you should read what you write before you post it, because you are coming across like I said. Also, love your gay comments; feeling a bit defensive? Lastly, where did I defend Eric's behavior in my post? Way to jump to the assumption there.

Maybe if you could stop focussing on only one thing I said and read everything you might have understood my point. Don't like what I said - move on....

Just because during the preseason a coach states that the vet is going to get the starts because he's the vet, doesn't mean he isn't allowed to change your mind and go with the goalie who has the best chance of winning games. There have been several years in Lincoln where the "starting" goalie ended up losing out to the "Back up" The fact that Coach isn't willing to go with the "hot goalie" makes me question his motives as a coach. The guys in section D were right behind me.... I am fine with people yelling stuff, but when you dont know the rules, keep your mouth shut and learn the game from your friend next to you....

I loved when the guy starting yelling "powerplay,powerplay" when the teams were even strength....
"Thats the fourth pass they missed tonight"..said late in the third period
"Deeeniiied" when the puck slid next to the goal line behind Witt and off...

Well, my fear of Eric starting on Friday, because we ALL know he will be regardless of how friggin awesome Witt is - is that Eric had been smack talking every chance he got at Tuesday's game. He was all spun up. I don't think, IMO, that he will be able to control his juvenile behavior long enough to focus on the GAME. It's quite apparent that Lincoln knows exactly how to get him off focus and riled up like he's 2 years old. Witt would NEVER let that happen. Witt is 1,000...

Clay Witt will be in goal. Coach said the goalie who wins gets the next start, but he also said that with Max last year and well Eric got some start that he should not have had.
