I know there are several I've spoken with that are, so I've explored other options and have found a solution that:
1) will not have all the down/slow time
2) no ads
3) is preferred by almost all the people I spoke with

Playoff hockey/OT/Penalties

Watching the Gopher game (just finished) & wondering why refs seem to think the rulebook doesn't apply in OT. It seems all levels of hockey put the whistle away once OT hits in the playoffs.

Their argument is that they don't want to determine the outcome of the game...huh?

Aren't they taking part in the outcome by not calling penalties? Perhaps you wouldn't see long OT games if the scoring chances weren't illegaly interfered with? Sure,...

Not listening to the game so not sure if it's been covered, but isn't Vrolyk's goal a shortie? According to PS it's even strength but with Grover in the box @ about the 6:00 mark & the goal scored at about the 7:00 mark it should be shorthanded...although with TC scorekeeper maybe they're trying to help the Storm stats.

Also, I believe a SF win tonight, regardless of regulation or OT, will clinch the playoffs.

Ok. They can't score, they can't play d, take too many penalties, PP sucks, PK is good (since they're always on it) & the goalies can't stop the puck.

How many of us have said at least one or two of those things?

Hartzell is 8th with 2.80 gaa, Strang is 5th with 2.68 gaa
2nd fewest PIM in the league
PP is 4th in the league

Hell of a game. I couldn't make it to the game because of work but was able to watch on B2. Has to be tough to play that well and get stoned by a hot goalie. I'm sure Eric would love to have that first goal back as well. Second one was just a fluke.

The Farris line looked great.

The boys looked good and I'm sure will enjoy a Saturday off.

DeMars - sure he had offensive talents but if he came in & started kicking a$$ against the Stampede, we'd all hate him
Jensen - his mirror image in BJ Greaves wasn't liked very much
Jeremy Smith - we didn't like him so much on the ice when he left & even though he was pint sized he still tried to fight every chance he got, how many other defensemen have you...
